Server Log Files
Purpose, legal basis and legitimate interest
When you access our website, i.e., even if you do not register or otherwise submit information, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider, your IP address, and the like.

Newsletter

You can subscribe to our newsletter, in which we inform you about news around our services. With your e-mail address, first name, and last name, you can subscribe to the newsletter via our website. Sleeq and the relevant service providers have access to this personal data. We have a processing agreement with the contracted service providers to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your personal data.
Storage period
Data will only be processed in this context as long as the corresponding consent has been given. Afterward, they will be deleted.
Provision prescribed or required
Your personal data will only be added to the list of recipients when you have granted permission. You grant permission by clicking on a link in the e-mail which you receive immediately when you register for the newsletter.
External programme
We use the external programme MailChimp to send the newsletter. For this purpose, we share your personal data. You can of course view the privacy policy of MailChimp.
Revocation of consent
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. This can be done via the link in the newsletter itself.
Contact form

If you want to contact us, you can fill in a contact form on the website. The personal data entered in the contact form is processed in encrypted form. When you fill in the contact form, we need the following personal information from you:

Create my account
Purpose and legal basis
You can create an account on the Sleeq website. The personal data entered in the create my account form is processed in encrypted form. When you fill in the create my account form, we need the following personal information from you:

- VAT number
- E-mail address
- Password
- Organisation type
- Industry (interests)
- Stocklot range
- Already a customer?
- Company name
- Street
- House number
- Postcode

- Contact person
- Invoice email
We do not have your password. With this personal information, we can create an account to process your order. We can check the status of the orders, make changes to an order, and add articles to your list of favourite items.
The legal basis for this processing is in each case your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

Storage period
When an account is inactive for 1 year, we will notify you by e-mail. If you do not log in to your account within 5 working days, your personal data will be deleted from us within 24 hours (on working days). You also have the option to delete your account in your settings. After you have agreed to delete your account, your personal data stored in your account will be deleted within 24 hours on working day

The provision of your personal data is voluntary. We can only create your account if you provide us with your name, e-mail address and your telephone number. In addition, we need your organisational data, as we only allow B2B customers.

When you want to buy something from our webshop, we need the following personal data from you:

Cookies
We use cookies on our website, both for the proper functioning of our website and for analytical purposes. In the following, we explain which cookies are used and for what purpose they are used. If you need more detailed information about cookies, please read our cookie statement.
Google Analytics
Sleeq uses Google Analytics to gain insight into how visitors use the website. We use this data to optimise our website. With the help of Google Analytics cookies, pseudo-anonymous personal data of visitors is stored in Google Analytics. Pseudo-anonymous data cannot be traced back to a specific person. This data includes:

- Operating system
- Browser
- Type of device (tablet, mobile or desktop)
- Pages viewed
- How the visitor has entered the website
- The duration of the visit on the website
- IP adress
However, an IP address, for example, is not visible and cannot be traced back to a specific person. In Google's privacy statement you can find information about the security of your personal data. Sleeq has a data processing contract with Google Analytics to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.
Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to gain insight into how the website is used and to optimise it for usage. Clarity is used to store pseudo-anonymous personal data of visitors in Microsoft Clarity. Pseudo-anonymous data is the record of visits. Clarity records interactions such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, etc. that a user performs on our website. The data is stored for a maximum of one year. Information about the security of your personal data can be found in Microsoft's privacy policy.
Google reCAPTCHA
On this website, we also use the reCAPTCHA function of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). This function is primarily used to distinguish whether an entry is made by a natural person or is abused by machine and automated processing. The service includes the sending of the IP address and, if applicable, further data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google and is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in determining individual personal responsibility on the Internet and the prevention of abuse and spam. The use of Google reCAPTCHA may also involve the transmission of personal data to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

Note on data transfer to the USA
Our website includes links to companies based in the USA. If you make use of these links and click on them, personal data may be passed on to the US servers of the respective companies. We would like to point out that the USA is not a safe third country in the sense of EU data protection law. US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you as a data subject being able to take legal action against this. It can, therefore, not be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. intelligence agencies) process, evaluate and permanently store your data located on US servers for monitoring purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.
On our LinkedIn page, you have the opportunity to respond to our posts, comment on them and send us private messages. In addition to the content you submit, information about your profile, ‘likes’ and posts will be visible to us, depending on your privacy settings.
The processing of your data when you contact or interact with our site or its content is carried out by us on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) AVG. Our legitimate interest is to comply with your request. To the extent we can, your data will be deleted when we no longer operate our LinkedIn page. Insofar as this data is further stored by LinkedIn, only the provisions of LinkedIn's data protection policy and data protection regulations apply to this. Data from children under 16 years
Our website and/or service do not intend to collect personal data about visitors who are younger than 16 years old, unless they have the permission of parents or guardians. We cannot check if a visitor is older than 16. We, therefore, advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, to prevent the collection of personal data about children without parental consent. Sleeq has no control over the use of data by social media. We cannot obtain traceable personal data from Google Analytics or change it for you.
